Lasagna

Nothing better than Lasagna for a real Italian Sunday lunch ! Ingredients: 1 Lb ground beef 4 cup tomato sauce 3 cup basciamella cream 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 lb fresh lasagna noddles 1 tbs powdered garlic 1 tbs salt 1 tbs black pepper Directions: In a large skillet over medium heat brown the ground beef. Add tomato sauce, salt, garlic, pepper and simmer for 5 minutes. To assemble, in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish evenly spread 0.5 cup of the besciamella cream and 0.5 cup of sauce. Cover with 2 lasagna noodles, 3/4 cup of the basciamella cream and 3/4 cup sauce. Repeat layers until the end of lasagna noddles. Top with remaining besciamella, remaining sauce and Parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F(175 degrees C) oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. A very easy and comfort food!

Spaghetti al pomodoro

There is nothing more simply than a wonderful "spaghetti al pomodoro" dish. The pasta with tomatoes sauce is the basic of everyday Italian lunch. Ingredients for 4 person 1 lb Spaghetti type pasta Salted water to boil pasta 1 lb Canned tomatoes 1 Tbs oliva oil 1/2 onion 1/2 tbs garlic powder 5 leafs fresh Basil A pinch of salt Directions In a large skillet brown the chopped onions with olive olive over medium heat for 2 minute Combine canned tomatoes, salt, garlic and basil to the browned onion and simmer for 5 minutes. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. In the skillet combine the sauce with drained pasta and toss over medium heat for 1 minute. Serve with grated parmesan cheese to taste.

Pasta alla Carbonara

There are plates that don't need any word to explain... Ladies and Gentlemen: The Queen of pastas, her Majesty Queen "the Carbonara" Ingredients for 4 persons 1 lb. Spaghetti 4 eggs yolk 1 cup of Guanciale (or becon) sliced 1 cup of grated Pecorino Romano cheese (or Parmesan) 1 tsp Pepper salted water Directions 1) Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until all dente, about 8 minutes. 2) Meanwhile, place Guanciale (or bacon) sliced in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. 3) In a bowl beat the eggs yolk with grated cheese and pepper 4) Take 1/2 cup of the cooking water of spaghetti and put it in the skillet with bacon. 5) Drain spaghetti and put in the skillet with bacon, put the beaten eggs yolk on it and toss for 1 minute at low heat. The Queen of pasta is ready!
